HOW TO RESIZE/ADJUST YOUR WATCH WITH A LINK REMOVING TOOL: METHOD OF APPLICATION

1.) To remove a pin from your watch band, begin by creating space by rotating the pin pusher screw counter-clockwise. Then, place the band over the resize tool and align the pin you want to remove with the pin pusher.

To do this, refer to the <-arrow marked on the inside of the band.

It's important to ensure that you align the pin correctly, as this will help you avoid damaging the band or the pin. Once you've aligned the pin, use the pin pusher to gently apply pressure until the pin slides out of the band.

Remember to work slowly and carefully to avoid damaging your watch band. If you encounter any issues or have questions, please refer to your watch's user manual.

2.) Now, begin by firmly turning the pin pusher screw clockwise. Continue to turn the screw until the pin can be seen emerging from the other side of the band, in the direction of the arrow pointing leftward <-arrow.

Make sure to apply enough pressure to push the pin out, but be careful not to damage the watch or the band. With these steps, you should be able to remove the pin from your watch band with ease.

3.) To safely remove the pin from the link itself, we recommend waiting until the pin is visible from the other side. At this point, using a pair of pliers, gently grip the pin and pull it out of the link.

Be sure to apply steady, even pressure to avoid bending or damaging the pin or the link. With this method, you can easily remove the pin from your watch without any risk of damage.

4.) Grip the pin firmly with the pliers and then carefully pull the pin out in a straight, even motion.

Side Note-  We would like to bring to your attention an important detail regarding the pin head. As shown in the example below, please note that the existing pin head has an open end. This detail is important to keep in mind when handling the pin, as it may affect its functionality.

5.) With the metal pin now completely removed, you should be able to easily separate the two conjoined links at this point. Simply give them a gentle tug in opposite directions and they should come apart without any resistance and able continue to the next step.

6.) Reattach the two detached links and gently insert the closed end of the pin into the corresponding slot or hole.

 

7.) This should be done in the REVERSE direction of the <-arrow->> located on the inside of the band. With the open end ( >- ) of the link pin, make contact with the push pin’s head to drive the link’s pin back into its original position within watchband.

8.) To properly reinsert the pin back into the link, please rotate the pin pusher screw drive in a clockwise direction until the pin is at a depth lower than the hole. This will ensure that the pin is securely back in place and the link is fully functional.
